These terms govern your use of the Skillsplash platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Your content

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information, CVs, assessment answers, and video recordings you submit. You grant Skillsplash a licence to use your content solely to operate the platform and evaluate your applications.

Acceptable use

• You will not provide false or misleading information.
• You will not impersonate another person or share another user's data.
• You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform.
• You will not use the platform for unlawful, discriminatory, or harassing purposes.

Assessments and video interviews

Assessments are time-limited and may be auto-scored. Attempting to cheat, share answers, or circumvent timers may result in disqualification and account suspension. Video interviews must be your own original recordings.

Employers

Employers using Skillsplash to recruit must comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws, including the Employment Equity Act of South Africa, and must only process candidate data for legitimate recruitment purposes.

Liability

Skillsplash is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the hiring decisions made by employers. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your profile from active listings.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of South Africa.
